Requests for 2017 Mini Grant
Always searching for ways to enhance the benefits of membership for Chamber members, a Mini-Grant Program has been established by the Greater Afton Area Chamber of Commerce to help increase collaborations among businesses, community groups and the not-for-profit community to promote business and volunteer opportunities.
Necessary additional funds to support new and innovative promotion of economic growth and/or to sponsor educational opportunities that address financial, technical and management needs in the greater Afton area have, until now, been difficult to obtain.
The Chamber has felt a growing need for assistance in this area and decided to create this program as a ready, although selective, source for this funding. A Chamber of Commerce has a mandate to help its membership wherever it is able by disseminating its funds to provide the broadest benefits to businesses and the community it serves.
The maximum grant amount is $500 and the grant(s) will be chosen from information submitted by the application process. It is possible that more than one grant could be available each year, depending on specific needs. This year’s applications are due by March 31, 2017 and are open to members of the Greater Afton Area Chamber of Commerce.
